It's hard to take decisions because they are deemed to be yours once you take them.
You need to own them up. Decisions taken by you may impact you and others around you.
So you need to stand behind them and face the consequence because you will be part of the ecosystem that is impacted due to the decision made.
Decisions can only be made on two grounds - Self-driven or Inclusive.
Decisions can be taken impulsively and driven by factors outside your control.
Best decisions are made when you apply your honest thoughts on the subject that warrants a decision to be made.
What the decision is about? What it will impact? What will improve as a result of taking the decision?
Importantly best decisions are those that result in an intended positive effect on the ecosystem in which it's taken.
The smaller the ecosystem impacted the more decisions are self-driven, the broader the ecosystem impacted the more inclusive decisions are likely to be.
That is also the difference between achiever and influencer; both are potentially highly effective but create varying degrees of impact on the ecosystem.
Where would rather you be? Hard to be honest about it...
